Best Of Beauty 2016 – Part 2.

First of all, wishing you all a very wonderful new year and just like me, I hope you had the best holiday ever. What a remarkable year was 2016! So many political happenings and new trends all around the world and I hope the same in 2017 too. Well, if you have missed my previous post, then you could always check out my Best Of Beauty 2016 – Part 1 right here where it covers all the beat beauties of 2016 excluding makeup and so, this post is fully dedicated to just makeup alone as there are so many cult favourites which I always wanted to share along with you. I should say 2016 was the year of Estee Lauder as I have tried so many makeup products from them and every new product that I use, it always surprises me and one among them is my Travel friendly Luxury Eyeshadow Palette which I have used all throughout the Spring as their neutral tones are ideal to use on a no-makeup makeup look and their compact set is ideal as a versatile travel staple.

One more amazing find from Estee Lauder is their Ingenious Colour Palette which represents as a cult beauty from inside and out and one can’t ignore their stunning looking gold packaging and an immaculate amount of colour pigmentation.

People say that first impression is the best impression and it is 100% right as Eyeko brand brings in a commendable quality all the time I use and having used their Black Magic Mascara from 2015, I have decided to add one more product from their pipeline and one sumptuous product is Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner .

I have heard so many good reviews about millions of mascaras and one that is bejewelled in look and works exponentially well is my all time favourite Lancome Grandiose Mascara and Viola! Who can say no to this! It surely looks like a little gem in your beauty wardrobe.

It is not always a high-end product embarks the situation but this time, Collection Fast Stroke Liquid Eyeliner breaks the ice as its quality is impeccably amazing and it is one of my Best Buys Under £5. You could able to see their carbon black finish on the above picture.

If you love smokey eye, then you must try this product as it makes smokey eye look at its ease and Rodial Smokey eye pen is yet another product that I have tried last year.

By the way, who wouldn’t like the real coverage of face makeup look, isn’t it? And, having used so many drugstore foundations for years, I was so intrigued to try on high-end foundation and as you expected, I’ve literally I landed onto a Trip to MAC counter and you could able to catch up with its full story right here.

BB cream is a mandatory staple for Spring and Estee Lauder Double Wear BB Cream solves all the problems of coverage and brings in a natural glow instantly onto your face.

Nyx Color Correcting Concealer is a wonderful product that is perfect to use for all kinds of ages and skin and believe it or not, it works wonders.

I love this TBS Cuban Watermelon Blush as it brings in a subtle sheen to my cheeks instantly and you know, winter is the season of blushes and so, having one of them is a must-have staple right now.

I totally agree that 2016 was the year of lips as there were so many new products for lips on the market and me not in exception either as I have tried so many varieties of them and one among the best is Estee Lauder High Gloss which is quintessential to wear on its own or just above the lipstick.

Another interesting glossy lip colour is Lancome Lip Lover and it brings in the tint of rosy pink and glossy finish at the same time.

There is no way to finish a lip product without this and NYX soft matte lip cream  is the best of pocket friendly and skin friendly lip creams and their quality is totally amazing.

Another lip cream that I tried was Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream and the hue looks stunning on the lips.

Recently, I’m so addicted to rose gold and this Retro Red from Kate Moss 15th Anniversary Collection is the best release among all of her collections and I’m using it non-stop ever since I have bought it.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick In Dynamic.

Have you already seen the signs of Spring? Like wonderful blooms arraying in the back garden and the tweets of birds chirping when you wake up early in the morning, isn’t it glorious to stay in this amazing weather forever (I know, it is not possible albeit). Well, there is also other aspect of life which could bring in Spring straight into your beauty wardrobe and one such staple that I’ve discovered on my recent Spring beauty journey is Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick in the shade Dynamic (410). Want to know a bit more of it, then stay tuned girls!

 

To be honest, I’m addicted to dark coloured lipsticks in general but as soon as Spring has shown its true colours, my heart has literally started to swift for seasonal pleasures and one such warm, neutral and mid toned lipstick is this great staple piece. Besides, whether your skin looks like a bronzy goddess as a sun-kissed skin or being yourself glowing as a radiantly illuminant dewy complexion, in either way, I’m sure you could rock this shade indefinitely well.

All-in-all, this muted rose lipstick with warm undertones gives a full coverage and multi-faceted pigments gives you a well-defined and sculpted pout. Moreover, when it comes to its functionality, the texture is super creamy and glides onto your lips flawlessly with a bit of shine finish and the formula is totally light-weight and so easy to apply. Other key features includes high pigmentation, moisture lock as it comes with time-realesed moisture complex, 6 hours of longevity and lastly, it keeps your lips sealed in hydration all throughout the wear. I am a great fan of Estee Lauder‘s packaging as they literally nail each time with their splendid elegant details on their products and for me, the first thing to invest in any high end product is to check the quality of the packaging that it comes with and hence, I always try to pay attention to all the tiny details that it carries before falling in love with the product itself.

Talking about the packaging, let me start with the main part of the lipstick case where the metallic navy blue theme runs all throughout the side of the lipstick case but when it comes to the top and bottom squared part of it, it is completely filled up with golden goodness and the embossed details are thrown with brand name to the top and the shade detail to the bottom. Yes girls! – it is certainly a true delight of luxury.

Moving along to the inside of the lipstick, it is purposefully coloured with just gold hue alone and when you try to twist the bottom tube, the glorious lipstick pops up to the top that stands elegantly well. Last but not least, with just one click, the case closes perfectly well and it feels like luxury is in your hands.

 

1. Start the procedure with a well cleaned lips.
2. Using a tooth brush, take off any excess dead skin on your lips.
3. Use LUSH Bubblegum lip scrub and exfoliate it nicely on your lips and leave it to stand for few minutes.
4. Now, wipe off any remaining lip scrub on your lips.
5. Next, apply TED Baker Lip balm on to your lips.
6. Then, use a neutral shaded lip pencil on your lips and sketch and line your pout perfectly well.
7. Now, use the above lipstick on your lips and try to reach all corners for a well curvaceous lip look.
8. Next, blot any excess lipstick in the tissue by pressing your lips.
9. Then, reapply lipstick again on your lips and in this way, your lipstick might able to stay on your lips for much longer hours.
10. Now, your Spring inspired lips are ready to show off.
