Airport Beauty Haul.

Art Deco. Isa Dora, Maybelline NewYork Color Rama Nail Polish, jewellery, Brooch, ring, hair accessory. hair clip, Loreal Paris Kajal Magique

You all know that I’ve been on a 4-week holiday to India last month and during my visit, I’ve managed to buy some beauty items from the duty free shop in the airport and surprisingly, seven of them are just nail polish alone as I’ve been totally hooked up with the amazing galore of colours that has been displayed in the shop and also, I’ve made some great buys on jewellery and hair accessory too. So, are you all excited to see the beauty haul? Yes, just like you, I’m also absolutely delighted to showcase some of the key buys and so, let me head onto it right away.

Art Deco Nail Polish – shade 971:

This is such a pretty burgundy shade that is shimmery and glossy and the brush wand is so magical to apply onto your nails and the consistency is picture perfect to finish a pro-styled manicure.

Art Deco Nail Polish – shade 812:

Oh my! This is a fantastic neutral nude shade that is not only quintessential for wedding season but it also brings an elegant style statement instantly onto any occasion. To be honest, I’m so addicted to this shade at the moment.

Art Deco Nail Polish – shade 629:

If you are a peach lover just like me, then this is the shade for you as the completed look of your nails appears to be a wonderful pastel peach shade. Marvellous!

Isa Dora Nail Polish – shade 241 (weekend):

This Swedish nail polish brand is an ultimate rocker and this is my debut nail polish from their range and I should say that it is like love at first sight. Well, this gel nail lacquer has a beautiful application consistency that assures you to give a one week super shine finish – Viola! What else could you ask for, isn’t it? Besides, I love the name of this polish, weekend – What a pretty way to celebrate your nails on the weekend? Gorgeous!

Maybelline NewYork Color Rama 60 Seconds – shade 155:

If one nail hue that was so popular all throughout this summer, then I must agree that it is certainly bright orange. Yes, girl! You’ve heard it right. Yep, wherever you go from salon to nail studio, this colour has been rocking like any other and the clear evidential proof is, I’ve applied this onto my nails most of the time during holiday.

Other Nail Polishes:

I’ve grabbed a stunning cobalt blue shade and mesmerising blood red shade from Indian duty free shops. Doesn’t they look so amazing?

L’oreal Paris Kajal Magique – Black:

In future, if you ever wish to travel to India, then I would highly recommend to buy this product as it gives the most amazing pitch black eyeliner look that you can ever get in the whole wide world and L’oreal Paris has literally nailed at making this item.

Jewellery And Hair Accessory:

Even though, I’ve bought lots of jewellery, one among them is the splendid rose gold ring and my pinky finger love it a lot. Then, comes the amazing brooch where it can be pinned with elegance to any kind of occasional wear. Last but not least, I can’t finish off this post without mentioning the awesome stone studded mini hair clip. Look at the picture – how gorgeous it is!

So, what kind of beauty staples that you often buy in airport duty free shops? If you have anything in particular, then you could always share along your amazing desires with me and as always, I would love to read them.

8 Ways To Select A Mascara.

Lancome grandiose mascara

I totally agree to the fact that if one makeup staple that I can’t live without is always a good quality wondrous mascara. Anyways, who couldn’t able to resist the thick, volume and fuller looking lashes, isn’t it? Stunning! Besides, I do have a fair share of mascara trying out then and there too and I’m absolutely proud enough to say that in the meantime as well. But instead, if you ask me, “Is that necessary to try out different varieties of mascara?”, then I would say that, yes, it is definitely a swoon worthy deal for sure since the more the mascara you try out, the better the knowledge you could gain and hence, don’t leave a chance to refine yourself.

The other great feature of mascara that I most liked about is the light weight of the mascara wand which is so easy to handle just like a feather handed characteristic; plus, application wise, it is much versatile to use to bring in some volume, curl and lift instantly to your lashes and one such particular find is the gorgeous Maybelline NewYork The Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara.

  • Volume

Adding a lash primer is always a wise decision if you are looking for an intense and thicker looking lashes as it brings in oomph effect to your eyes instantly and one such amazing find is the prestigious L’oreal Paris False Lash Superstar Mascara and it comes as a two bottle portion whereas one container has the lash primer on and the other has the actual mascara content itself and hence, intensity is at its simplicity if you use this stunning staple as a beauty piece.

  • Extra addition of lash primer
  • Brilliant brush bristles
  • Thicker and separate looking lashes
  • Intense lash look

Lancome Grandiose mascara

Having an extra length to your lashes is the most blessed about property that one could always look for and the most adventurous Lancome Grandiose is the perfect beauty asset that one could have in their beauty wardrobe.

Characteristics:

  • Perfect swan neck brush wand
  • Native rose cell extract that enhances lash length

8jun166

Choosing a mascara that has the most extravagant formula is always the best choice one could opt for and always look for the nutritional properties that allows your lash length to grow or provide some lash care for a long lasting moisturisation to your lashes. Besides, always look for water-resistant formulas that are great for warm, sunny days to use.

8jun167

Choose the most incredible brush wands that are available in the market like curved, swan shaped, tapered, round headed and super sleek wands and always make sure that you are opting the right wand for the right purpose.

8jun188

Nowadays, mascara can be obtained in so many colours that could easily be able to match with your hair colour, skin tone or your uber-stylish outfits and some of the most stunning shades that are trending at the moment are black, brown, cobalt blue, purple and  minty green.

So, which factors that I mentioned above are the most desirable options that you account for? Let me know all about your personal thoughts and as always, I would love to read them.

The Beauty Blogger Tag.

A week ago I was nominated to do The Beauty Blogger Tag by the lovely Emma. Check out her blog and I’m sure, you would certainly love as much as I do.

The rules for this tag:

  1. Tag the blogger that nominated you.
  2. Answer the questions you were given.
  3. Nominate 10 bloggers whose blog is about beauty/fashion/lifestyle.
  4. Name 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
  5. Inform the bloggers you chose that you nominated them.

The questions Emma gave me:

  1. Why did you start blogging? – Before starting a blog myself, I was a regular reader of some of the well-known blogs and the effort that they put in each of the post makes me to inspire a lot and finally, I got hooked up and decided to give it a go and I’m extremely glad that I made the right decision at the right time.
  2. Favourite Lipstick?Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Ultra Lipstick in the shade Flame (03) is my current favourite and I have started using this Hollywood style glam red lipstick since Valentine’s day and I’m so intrigued with the fuller looking plumper lips that it gives as it is infused with Volulip, a new ultra plumping agent.
  3. Top three things on your bucket list? – It is a very tricky question but still, I would love to shortlist some of my bucket list items to three. The first one on top of the list is Charlotte Tilbury Covetable lipsticks that is designed exclusively for her high clienteles and by releasing this charitable lipstick tubes, she has taken lipsticks to a level up position and in particularly, I would prefer to purchase Miranda May (in honour of the super model Miranda Kerr) and Electric Poppy (in honour of British supermodel Poppy Delevingne, who is also sister of Cara Delevingne) and secondly, I want to try MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick in which everyone is raving about and I’ve heard that this matte liquid lipstick is so easy to apply and doesn’t budge at all unlike other liquid lipsticks and hence, you could able to coat multiple times with complete peace of mind and lastly, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, which is one of the product that I’ve been eyeing so long.
  4. Skincare go-to? – I regularly follow two time cleansing routine everyday and I don’t skip it even while I’m on move. Then, I use my luxury toner  to tone my skin and then, I use OZ Naturals HA moisturising serum in the morning and Estee Lauder Night Repair Serum in the evening skincare routine. Finally, I top up with moisturiser and for body, I always trust my Soap&Glory The Righteous Butter and Olay Essentials Complete Care Day Cream  for face and lastly for lips, I love to use my bejewelled luxury Ted Baker cocoa scented lip balm.
  5. Favourite drugstore brand? – I love Maybelline NewYork, L’oreal Paris and Rimmel London and some of my favourite picks are Maybelline NewYork The Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara, L’Oreal False Lash Superstar Mascara and Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Gel Eyeliner.
  6. Favourite high end brand? – Estee Lauder and Elizabeth Arden are my favourite high end brands and some of my cherry picked items from their range are my travel friendly Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow palette and Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers perfume.
  7. Natural or smokey eye? – For workwear, I always choose natural eye but for any other special occasion, I’ll go for a flawless smokey eye.
  8. Brushes or beauty blender? – I prefer to use brush.
  9. Favourite highlighter?Bourjois Paris Bronzing and Illuminator duo and Soap&Glory Solar Powder.
  10. What are your social media handles? Twitter and Instagram.

I nominate:

Bronaghs Beauty and Books

Stashmatters

Puddle Side Musings

Lizzie Loves Beauty

A Brash Attitude

Chanelle Hayley

Ladies and Lace

Alifya Lifestyle

Clair Neriah

Mrs Strawberry Blonde

My questions are:

  1. What is your key point for a successful blog?
  2. What is your current favourite Spring makeup look?
  3. Name three branded lipsticks from your collection.
  4. Do you use toner regularly and how often?
  5. Do you have any travel wish lists for this year?
  6. What is your tips on getting a pro-styled smokey eye look?
  7. How frequently do you clean your makeup brushes?
  8. Are you a blush or a bronzer person?
  9. What is your take on using natural skincare product in your beauty regime?
  10. What are your social media handles?
