Review: IsaDora Eye Shadow Quartet

Is it fair enough to have too many eye shadow palettes? If you ask me, I would say, it is a girl’s dream albeit and my heart always starts pounding when I see those luscious, eye-catching hues and if you have followed me for a while, then you might have known that I’m always on a hunt for new brands that are quality wise, in par with high end and money wise, budget friendly at the same time and viola! I hit the target this time as I bumped onto an amazing Swedish brand, IsaDora. So, stay tuned to see what’s in-store for?

Truly speaking, I’m so impressed with the amazing quality of the product as they come as fragrance free that are also clinically tested but not on animals and so, that is a good start and then, their products are designed in such a way that is suitable to use for sensitive eyes and sensitive skin and isn’t it amazing? Most of all, I love their premium quality at a very affordable price tag.

Packaging of this quartet looks stunningly sleek with black canvas and embossed with a silver note of brand name to the middle right and when you tend to open, it comes along with a compact mirror to the top and a quad eye shadow palette to the base and so, it is extremely travel friendly as the clip on lock is best served on the go with complete protection of mess free eye shadow.

Formula is simply amazing and I have tried 02 Pink Dream and 01 Dragonfly and the texture is creamy and silky in touch and it promises to give a long-lasting finish that is up to 12 hours provided if you have applied the quintessential eye shadow base. Then, moving along to its intensity, it is well pigmented and pays off really well and the depth of staying power  is also good. Besides, if you are looking to build on further with eye makeup look, then you can blend in as per desired.

1. Start the procedure with a well washed and clean eyes.
2. Apply a coat of eye shadow base as it acts as a base for the whole eye makeup look.
3. I always fan around the biscuit like beige shade to the crease area so that catches the light swiftly.

My Travel-Friendly Luxury Eyeshadow Palette.

Finally, sun is out and I’m getting an instinct that the weather has started to change a bit and convincingly, in the Spring mode. Fingers crossed. Well, keeping weather aside, let’s move onto today’s post, which is a gorgeous eye shadow palette that is predominantly called as Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow/Ombre A Paupieres. This is my latest addition to my existing travel friendly collections and I absolutely love it. Plus, if you work like a busy bee as an urban chic, then this palette is quintessential to define your eyes while you are on the move wherein this one compact palette is pretty enough to satisfy all the beauty needs that your eyes look for.

This palette comes in as a luxurious black box which secures the contents with an airtight lockup feature and the eye shadow contents are displayed in a row of four colours with an application brush to the front and the inner top of the box comes with a full size mirror which can help you to give an even application while you are on the go.

Apparently, this palette comes up with two satin shades, one matte shade and one shimmer shade and the colour shades includes: sugar biscuit, nude fresco, wilde sable and hot cinnamon which could easily able to make either a nude or rose makeup look effortlessly well. Let me explain with a detailed makeup look.

Nude Makeup Look:

1. Prime your eyes either using NYX eyeshadow base or Urban Decay Primer Potion.
2. Then, apply wilde sable onto crease area of your eyes and then blend well using a blending brush to give an evened out matte look.
3. Now, apply hot cinnamon to the outer corner of your eyes to bring in some depth to the look.
4. Next, apply sugar biscuit to inner corner and centre of the eyelid to give a well brightened look.
5. Then, apply khol pencil to outer two-thirds of your lower lash line.
6. Now, using gel eyeliner, sketch a fine line to your upper lash line.
7. Next, apply two to three coats of mascara onto your lashes to get a fanned out lash look.
8. Now, define your brows using Soap&Glory Brow Archery.
9. Then, use a thin layer of concealer under the brow so that you could able to bring in some highlight to the brow bone area.
10. Finally, make some final touchups to finish off the look effectively well.

I’m so happy with the texture of the eye shadow as it is so light in weight and the consistency is perfect as creamy and powdery and the pigmentation is ideal to bring in an easy build up application of the product to your eyes and while coming along to the longevity, it lasts long too and hence it is a great choice for an all day workwear.
