I love beauty hauls and if it is from The Body Shop, then it is always a double surprise for me as I love their makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance range. Besides, as we are already residing in summer months, it is always a wise decision to opt for tropical choice and just as a coincidence, TBS has recently introduced their exclusive tropical range which is named as PINITA COLADA. Doesn’t it sound amazing? With gorgeous Carribean scents and fruity extracts of pineapple and coconut, TBS has literally nailed with their latest range and these products look like cocktail in a bottle. Now, let’s see in detail.

The Body Shop Pinita Colada Shower Gel:

Having said that it is one of the most raved about product range among the blogging community lately, I’ve been waiting so long to try these stunning goodies and to be honest, my waiting has absolutely paid off for sure; plus, the first product that I always want to try from their new range is the TBS Pinita Colada Shower Gel. For example, if you want to soak up this summer with tropical paradise, then this is the gateway to attain true pleasure as the rich soap-free formula lathers immensely to give you a quintessential freshened up body and it completes perfectly with a tropical scented finish.

The Body Shop Pinita Colada Fresh Body Sorbet:

The perfect way to finish off any bathing or shower routine is by slathering around your body with an easy-to-sink in moisturiser and one such great find recently is TBS Pinita Colada Fresh Body Sorbet as this product comes along with a light-weight textured formula that gives you a guaranteed fast absorbing feature which in turn leaves your body to get absorbed instantly. Moreover, it promises you to give a 24 hour moisturisation which sounds pretty impressive too.

The Body Shop Fresh Sorbet Blush – Cuban Watermelon:

TBS fresh sorbet blush

For a very long time, I’ve always trusted my powdered blush to bring some hue onto my face but this fresh sorbet blush has totally changed my opinion as the refreshing sorbet textured, creamy formula that is scented with the stunning fragrance of cuban watermelon gives you the healthy glossy finish that you’ve always wanted for during warm, summer months. Also, the promising factor of 12 hour moisturisation gives you the perfect velvet soft cheek finish. Moreover, it also comes with other shades like Lychee blossom, Florida sunstar and Tuscan grape and hence, there is a wide colour range to choose from which could able to suit everyone’s needs.

Hello sweeties, how was the weekend? I hope you had an awesome one. Admitting the fact that we are nearly to the end of February, this weekend I was totally in a spring clean mode and one particular part that I specifically want to mention here is storage. Well, we all know that spring clean involves lots of decluttering and organisation and hence, this time I made it as an advantage to revamp my makeup storage. Plus, the amount of quality time spent and getting it finished up to look more organised is really a pleasure thing and I’m sure you would be feeling the same just as me. Isn’t it?

More about the elegant prop

While thinking about different themes of organisation, once that really highlighted my thinking was the elegant touch to the organised look and that’s why, this time I opted for an elegant cake holder stand from Jamie Oliver, the famous British Chef as my prop wherein I could able to tuck in and arrange all the makeup items that I desire to show case. Yes girls! These gorgeous multi coloured striped patterns along with the stunning looking stainless steel stand makes it as a quintessential eye catcher to define my timeless beauty staples in an elegant way.

Top Row

To be honest, when it comes to makeup, I always like to do a mix and match with luxury as well as drugstore products and as you know, I always have a super soft corner for branded products and that’s why I’ve opted for the top row to adorn with some of my stunning looking luxe products like Ted Baker Lip Balm (this miniature perfumed shaped jewelled-glass container contains the coolest cocoa blended luscious lip balm which will melt when this balm is applied onto my lips), Lancome Eye shadow (a creamy, radiantly glowing blue eyeshadow is a must for this Spring), Red Lipstick (this red carpet inspired, flattering lipstick is ideal to wear on your lips for any kind of special occasions or parties) by Kate Moss from Rimmel London and Mascara ( this nourishing, clump free mascara is my all time perfect staple for a voluptuous looking lashes) from Eyeko London.

Bottom Row

Soap&Glory, Maybelline NewYork, MUA Cosmetics, Rimmel London, Barry M Cosmetics

While the top row was making a galore of luxury brands, here on the bottom row was substituted with a few unmatchable drugstore beauties and some of the key beauty staples includes: Soap&Glory Miniature The Righteous Butter (my skin adores to wear this creamy, soft, butter like moisturiser every day which comes along with an added nourishing factor of shea butter and aloe vera), Maybelline NewYork Dream Matte Mousse (it is great to wear just on its own or could be mixed along with any kind of foundation or BB cream to create a perfect base), MUA Creamy Blusher (this silky soft and creamy blusher is perfect to dab onto my cheeks every time), Rimmel London BB Cream (my HG drugstore BB cream), Maybelline NewYork Master Piece Precise Liquid Eyeliner (this sponge tipped pen is ideal to define and sketch precise lines onto my eyes) and lastly, Barry M Cosmetics Lip Liner (I use it everyday non-stop and it works great along with lip balm and lipstick).

Have you ever tried to organise your makeup storage in a different way other than the usual acrylic container boxes? If so, let me know about your personal thoughts and I would love to read them as always.

There is no doubt that 2016 is going to make a rocking tend set in the field of beauty as new year marks the beginning of new beauty rule and innovation and the three most particular areas including brows, cheeks and lips are the most affluent parts that are going to be focussed even more than last year and hence, let’s get started.

Venice – Sephora & Souvenirs Haul.

23sep151

For any beauty blogger, holiday trip is not complete without a beauty haul and I am not in exception either and hence, I went on a hunt trail for beauty haul in Sephora and also, some world-famous glass souvenirs from Murano too. Plus, I am very glad that money has been spent wisely and didn’t splash too much albeit. Well, even before the holiday, I made up my mind very clear that a visit to Sephora is a must as there isn’t any Sephora in UK though and so, I grabbed this opportunity instantly and also without fail.

Moreover, when I first entered into Sephora, I literally felt like I was in a beauty heaven as all of their array of shelves were arranged and ordered with tremendous amount of beauty galore and I should say that my bulging drooling eyes were constantly spotting onto the beauty aisles all the time and it was like a jaw-dropping experience. Even though, I have lip glosses, eye palettes, blushes and bronzers as a separate beauty staple, this time I was looking for a all-in-one package and that’s where, this time I bumped onto this massive makeup set that contains all the beauty pieces that I opted for. Wow! I am totally addictive to this product right now as it has 36 pans of eye shadows, 12 shades of lip glosses, 4 shades of blushers and two tones of bronzers and anyway, what else could I ask for? Besides, the pigmentation of the eye shadows are so gorgeous and the creaminess of the shade is perfect to blend onto the eyes as just like a second skin and while moving onto the lip glosses, it just applies onto the lips like a butter and gives out a mirror like reflection of the shade onto the lips and then, while coming along to the blusher, the texture of the blusher is incredibly super soft and it leaves a dab of pinky or peachy tones onto the cheeks instantly and lastly, the bronzers are great to define the cheek bones and it leaves the cheeks with the long-lasting gorgeously glowing bronzy look.

Furthermore, as we all know, Murano is famous for its glass making artistry and after visiting that gorgeous place, one can’t come home empty-handed and even though, there were so many products available from glass vases to containers and from chandeliers to collectibles and from bracelets to rings but with the biggest hurdle of luggage restriction, this time I opted for smaller items that I can keep comfortably in my hand luggage yet still could able to cherish those memories anytime ever after and that’s why, this time I landed onto buy some couple of pair of earrings and a photo frame to satisfy my thirst quenching desires for glass staples. Doesn’t they look gorgeous!

This is the last post on my Venice series and if you have missed any of my previous part of the series, then you could always jump into right in here, here, here and here.
