I hope you are all having a wonderful time and looking forward to the most awaited festive season and yet another successful year to come. Now, when it comes to winter skincare, it is all about the extra effort that you take care with your tender loving skin and that is the only way to beat the winter blues, isn’t it? Well, I’m not an expert in skincare but still, I always follow 3 universally accepted simple rules of cleansing, toning and moisturisation and I’m sure that your skin looks much more healthier, glowier than ever before. Now, let me unleash my simple pleasure of skincare regime so, come along with me.

Cleansing – Part 1:
The most and primitive part of skincare routine is cleansing and it is the most vital feature that one has to follow twice a day regularly and I always trust the drugstore friendly beauties like Garnier micellar cleansing water and simple kind to skin cleansing facial wipes and the astonishing part is you don’t need to spend a fortune for it.
Cleansing Part 2:
The next step after removing makeup is a good worthy facial wash and my current favourite is Clinique liquid facial soap mild and another recent find is Amie purifying facial wash that is free from parabens, sulphates, mineral oils and animal extract.
Cleansing Part 3:
Exfoliation is the key for a successful skincare regime and my store bought ingredient, honey is the only super food that I always use as an exfoliant as the natural source of inbuilt vitamin E not only takes away dead skin but it also, helps to rejuvenate my skin to get ready for the next step of skincare routine.
Toning:

To be honest, there was a time when I used to skip this step but now, I made it as an essential element of skincare regime as the goodness and cleanliness it brings in is beyond expectation and with a splash of toning water on a mild sweep of cotton pad makes your skin to look much clearer and toned. Plus, the toner that I use in morning to get that refreshing feel is Clinique clarifying lotion 2 and to finish off the day with a nourishing statement is TBS tea tree toner.

Moisturisation Part 1:
Serum has been ruled as a sole monopoly among the Korean beauty for a long, long time but until Estee Lauder took it as a privilege to introduce to the modern western world and they became so successful and now, it is been celebrated and cherished by millions of beauty lovers and popular celebrities all around the world and their Estee Lauder advanced night repair synchronised recovery complex II is the best serum that I always love about.
Moisturisation Part 2:
Now, I’m going to talk about a multi-tasker that is used as an emollient to heal sunburns, rehydrate chapped lips, smooth elbows, make shinier legs and many more and you must have guessed it right and yes, it is Elizabeth Arden eight hour skin protectant and my way of using this product is as a beauty-cheat face mask and to be honest, it is like having a protecting membrane on your face but only disadvantage is their aroma otherwise, it works at its best.
Moisturisation Part 3:
Clinique is one of those brands where you pay an extra penny for the quality and the results that you get are price worthy and that is why, so many beauty queens use and repurchase their products regularly and me not in exception either. I use Clinique dramatically different moisturising lotion as under makeup moisturisation and it makes my skin to look glow-y and also, keeps my makeup to keep intact all throughout the day and doesn’t it sounds amazing? On the other hand, for a bit of intense moisturising treatment to my face, I always opt for their best selling product, Clinique moisture surge intense skin fortifying hydrator.
Other Skincare Stories:
If you are worried about dark circles, eyeballs and lack of sleep, then try the Simple kind to skin revitalising eye roll on as it acts so gentle to your skin and the refreshing ingredients brings in an instant oomph to your eyes.
If you are looking for a natural and organic skincare, then give a thumps up to the much relived skin element, Neal’s Yard almond oil and I use this regularly to massage it on my legs after shower and the lightness and richness of the non-greasy texture of the oil is the latest find that I proud about and I totally loving it and the best part is, it sinks into your skin right away.
Worried about dry lips, then break the ice by trusting onto the kind natured manuka honey lip balm and it feels like pressed honey on your lips and I use it as a lip mask during night.
Last but not least, Burt’s bees lemon butter cuticle cream is like lemon scented vaseline on your nails and it feels refreshing meanwhile moisturising too.
Have you ever used any of these products before? If so, share along your personal experiences and I would always love to hear from you.
