Nice to see bright sunshine coming out today after a fiery storm with hailstones poured out yesterday and I hope you are having a much settled weather on your side. On the other hand, I have been extremely busy at work but still managed to find couple of high end staples which was on my bucket list for a while. Hurray! It feels like christmas has come early. Viola! Plus, I love these latest beauty buys as they are all from great brands like MAC, Clinique, Estee Lauder and The Body Shop and surprisingly, I made a sensible variation of buys from skincare to makeup too. So, stay tuned to see what is in-store for.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator:
I’m so glad that I have finally found a super intense moisturising skincare product that brings in an unbelievable hydration to my skin all day long that is 24 hours promising moisture retention – WOW! Doesn’t it sound amazing? Additionally, it has become a firm staple on my skincare regime which I carry out every morning and evening. All-in-all, my skin felt much happier than ever before and even plumped up really well as a healthy, balanced looking skin. It retails at £34 for 75ml and little goes long way and I think one can’t go wrong with it.

MAC Cosmetics Rebel Lipstick:
If one high end lipstick that is a must-have staple for this season, then it has to be MAC Rebel and oh my! The colour looks so ravishingly beautiful and if you have a love affair with plum or berry shade, then it is a definite buy and while using, it swipes on your lips gorgeously well and leaving your lips with luscious tint of crushed berries. Besides, the quintessential creamy consistency of the lipstick is amazingly good and its texture works out extremely good on all kinds of skin type as I have seen most popular celebrities like Rhianna and Kim Kardashian wearing this and it looked so elegant. Lastly, it trades around just £15.50, which is a well worthy buy.
Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold Lifting Volume Mascara:
If one staple in the makeup world that you can’t without it, then it should be a mascara and finding a good, quality mascara is another great challenge and I always love mascaras from Estee Lauder as it is reliable and trust worthy to use that will keep you calm and relaxed for next 3 months with complete peace of mind and one great example for this is, Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold Lifting Volume Mascara. It brings in effortless curl, lift and weightless volume instantly. In addition, with 5 star rating and an amazing value of just £21, to be honest, it is always a wise buy.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner:
Toner is a much needed product if you want a healthier and clearer skin as it mattifies and cleanses your skin multi times better and such great find is The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner. I really love the infusion of tea tree oil from Mount Kenya in it as it brings in a nourishing element at the same time while cleansing which I think as a great bonus as it meanwhile soothes your skin too. All put together, it makes your skin to feel tighter pores, visibly looking clearer skin and finally, brings in shine to your skin as well. Score! Plus, with just £5.50 for 100ml, it is a definite winner as it certainly gives a long lasting mileage.

I ordered this toner and it hasn’t arrived yet. I see a dermatologist and use the topical acne gels that they prescribe. Do you think adding this tea tree oil toner would be too drying on my skin?

I’ve gone through a few travel/mini size tubes of that mascara (all gift with purchase). It’s decent. It doesn’t blow me away but it gets the job done.
